A message from the Neighborhood Watch Committee

Summer is fast approaching, which means criminals are out more and later hours. The N.W. is asking that all residents keep their front, side and back lights on all night long. The brighter the streets are the less likely people will hang around. If you witness an incident here is what you should do:

1. Call 911
2. Give the address
3. Explain what happened with a description of the suspect
4. Email Maura @ moriginal14201@yahoo.com and it will be kept in our crime log.

It is also vacation season and vacation safety is important also. Please make sure your home is secure- all deadbolts locked, lights left on timers and windows closed and locked. Please have deliveries cancelled or being collected by a trusted neighbor who has you travel schedule. Make your immediate neighbors aware of your vacation schedule. Have your neighbor park their car in your driveway if you have one. Neighborhood Watch Committee now has 4 block captains. A block captain is a person on the block that receives and passes on information from the members of the block and keeps in touch with the chairperson and other block captains.

The current block captains are:
Maura Simmonds-Price(first half of Trinity Place), Joe Fell(2nd half of Trinity Pl.), Luis Clay(W. Tupper) and Brian Dold (Virginia Pl.) Please feel free to voice N.W. concerns to your block captian. We are also in search of more block captains. We need 1 more for W.Tupper, S.Elmwood, and Edward. Enjoy your summer safely!!
